1. What is a 3D portrait figurine?
A 3D portrait figurine is a miniature statue created from a 3D scan of a real person. The scan captures your likeness and color details, which are then printed as a full-color resin sculpture.

 

2. How long does the scanning process take?
The scanning process typically takes 5–15 seconds, though setup and posing may take a minute or two.

 

3. Do I have to stay perfectly still?
Yes. Staying still for a few seconds helps capture a clean scan. Small movements can cause distortions in the final model.

 

4. What should I wear for the best result?
Clothing with texture and solid colors works best. Avoid reflective materials, shiny fabrics, or very thin items like scarves that may move.

 

5. Can I bring props or sports equipment?
Often yes! Props like sports balls, instruments, or small accessories can make your figurine more personal, as long as they can be held still during scanning.

 

6. Can multiple people be scanned together?
Yes, depending on the statue size. Small groups like siblings, couples, or teammates can often be scanned together.

 

7. Do glasses or hats work in the scan?
Usually yes. However, very reflective glasses or loose hats may affect the scan slightly.

 

The Model Creation

8. What happens after the scan?
After scanning, the data is processed into a 3D model, cleaned up by artists, and prepared for full-color printing.

 

9. Do you modify my appearance?
We keep the figurine true to your real likeness, but we may fix small scan artifacts or adjust the model slightly so it prints properly.

 

10. Will my figurine include color?
Yes. The final statue includes full color textures captured from the scan, so clothing, skin tones, and details appear realistic.

 

Printing

11. What material are the figurines made from?
They are printed using full-color resin or composite printing materials, designed to capture fine detail and color.

 

12. How big are the statues?
Figurines typically range from 100 mm to 150 mm tall (about 4–6 inches), depending on the option selected. Bigger if Needed.

 

13. How long does printing take?
Printing and finishing usually takes 2–4 weeks, depending on order volume.

 

14. Are the figurines fragile?
They are durable display pieces, but like most statues they can break if dropped or handled roughly.

 

15. Can the figurine be used outdoors?
They are intended for indoor display. Direct sunlight or moisture may affect color over time.

 

Ordering & Delivery

16. How do I order my figurine?
After your scan, you will receive a link to order your statue online where you can choose size and options.

 

17. When will I receive my statue?
Most orders are completed in 3–5 weeks after the order is placed.

 

18. Do you ship or deliver the figurines?
Yes. Orders may be picked up at designated locations, delivered locally, or shipped if needed.

 

19. What if I’m not happy with the scan?
If there is a scanning issue, we may rescan or adjust the model before printing.

 

20. Can I order additional copies later?
Yes! Once your scan is completed, additional statues can usually be ordered later.

 

Privacy & Safety

21. Do you keep my 3D scan data?
We keep scan data only for creating your figurine and fulfilling future orders. We do not use facial scans for other purposes. They will be deleted after a month.

 

22. Are children allowed to be scanned?
Yes, but children under 18 require a parent or guardian consent form.

 

Event & School Questions

23. Do you donate to schools or organizations?
Yes. A percentage of sales is donated back to the school or organization hosting the event.

 

24. Do you come to events?
Yes! We can scan people at schools, sports events, and community activities, or customers can visit our studio.

 

Fun Questions

25. Can pets be scanned?
Sometimes! Pets can be scanned if they can stay still long enough for the capture process.

 

26. Can I choose my pose?
Absolutely. We help you choose a pose that works well for a statue.
